Privacy Policy

People ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data We Access

The App may access:

  • Contact data you choose to import from Apple Contacts
  • Contact metadata you create in the App (such as folders, nicknames, comments/notes)
  • Phone numbers used for optional Caller ID labeling (Call Directory extension)

2. How Data Is Used

Your data is used only to provide app features, including:

  • Organizing contacts in folders
  • Displaying your custom metadata
  • Linking records to Apple Contacts
  • Showing caller labels for incoming calls (if Call Directory is enabled)
  • Syncing app data across your devices via iCloud (if enabled)

3. Data Storage

App data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is stored in your private iCloud container associated with your Apple ID. We do not operate our own server for your personal contact data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data may be processed by Apple services only as required to provide iCloud and iOS platform functionality.

5. Permissions

The App may request:

  • Contacts permission (to import/open Apple Contacts)
  • Call Directory permission (to show caller labels)

You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Your Control

You can:

  • Edit or delete records in the App
  • Disable iCloud sync in device settings
  • Disable the Call Directory extension in iOS Settings
  • Delete the App to remove local app data from your device

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Security

We rely on iOS and iCloud platform security mechanisms to protect data stored on-device and in your iCloud account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
