When reporting a problem, please include:

your macOS version
your WriteA version
what you were doing when it happened
the file type involved (WriteA document, .docx, .pdf, .svg, or an image)
steps to reproduce the issue, and a screenshot if possible

Privacy Policy

WriteA is a local macOS app. Your work stays on your Mac.

Data Collection

WriteA does not require an account.
WriteA does not collect personal data for advertising.
WriteA does not sell personal information.

Files and Document Access

WriteA opens and saves the documents and images you choose.
File access is limited to files and locations you explicitly select, consistent with macOS sandbox permissions.

Extracting Text from Images

When you extract text from a screenshot or photo, that processing happens on your Mac.
Your images are not uploaded to any server.

Network Use

WriteA is not designed to require network access for creating, editing, or exporting documents.
If future versions add optional network-based features, this policy will be updated.

Analytics and Tracking

WriteA does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.
If diagnostics or analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before release.

Purchases

WriteA is free to download and try; some features may require an in-app purchase.
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store — we do not receive or store your payment details.

Data Storage

Documents are stored where you save them.
App preferences and your list of recent documents may be stored on your Mac as part of normal app operation.
